Private Cooking Classes and Birthday Parties
This is a great option for birthdays, homeschooling enrichment, scouting badges, and more. Just pick a skill from the class repertoire and contact us about an available time slot. Don't see a particular skill set? Just ask!
I strive for students to work in groups of two, however, sometimes they work alone or in a larger group. Each group works on all recipes simultaneously with step by step instruction and demonstration. Children under 8 are welcome to cook at a private event with the help of friends and family.
Celebrating a birthday? You are welcome to bring in any other food, drink or decorations to enhance your class and make it more festive. Adults and younger children are always welcome to stay and participate or just hang out. Whatever the birthday cook wants!!!!
Pricing
Private classes are $450 for up to 8 students ($25 for each additional student - max 12ish students) and run approximately 2 ½ hours.
Private Cooking Socials
In the warmer months (Mid April - Mid November) Escuela de Rogow can also host a private cooking party or social. A social is not a traditional cooking class but rather a cooking experience. It is for those who love to cook and want to learn some amazing culinary techniques as well as appealing to those who prefer to eat and socialize. Events are approximately 3 hours and are a great format for larger groups and families of all ages. We start with a chef made pre party nosh, then move into a lively cooking demonstration with a general “how to” for each recipe. Guests then break off into different groups to prepare a part of the seasonal menu. I provide hands-on instruction and one on one support as each group works together to create their specific dish. The event culminates with either an amazing seated meal or a cocktail party style sampling of global recipes for all to enjoy. It's even better if you bring in some wine!!!! This is also a great team building exercise.

Socials are $650 for up to 8 people. $25 per additional guest (max 15ish)
